This wonderful flying fish kite is manufactured in the UK by Brookite, a company with a rich history dating back to the beginning of the last century. Originally formed by two brothers, Tommy and Walter Brooke, they offered their kites for sale at English beaches from the back of a motorcycle before their business began to flourish. It was a "Brookite" that was used by Marconi, in 1910, to hoist the aerial during one of his pioneering long distance voice transmissions.
