Postage & Delivery Policy

All postage is calculated according to weight and charged at, or below, cost.  As you add products to your basket the postage charges are worked out automatically and shown in the default setting which is generally "Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded". If your order contains multiple large items it may fall outside the Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded size constraints and will, on these occasions, will be securely sent using their "Parcelforce 48" service.

When you proceed to the checkout you will be offered various other delivery options which, depending upon the urgency with which you require an item, might be appropriate for your order.  All prices are clearly shown together with the associated Royal Mail delivery aim* details.

All kite orders are dispatched using "Royal Mail Standard Parcels".

Certain large items, dispatched directly from the manufacturer, will be sent via City Link and details of this will be clearly shown in the relevant product descriptions.  Such items will require a signature on delivery and if the product cannot be delivered on the first attempt a card will be left at the address with a City Link contact number for arranging another delivery date.  A new date can be chosen up to 5 working days from the first attempt.  If City Link are not contacted after a failed first delivery attempt they will attempt a second delivery the following working day.  A tracking number for such orders will be forwarded to you shortly after the item has been dispatched.

Please note: Currently we are only able to deliver the majority of our products within mainland UK.  Exceptions to this, due to popular demand, are our Skipper model sailing boats and our Star Yacht stands - please contact us for details and shipping costs. 



As a guide the delivery aim for services within the UK is:-

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded - this service has a delivery aim of "next working day".

Royal Mail Parcelforce 48 - this service has a delivery aim of "guaranteed delivery within 2 working days".

Royal Mail Standard Parcels - this service has a delivery aim of "delivery within three to five working days".

Please note that the above delivery aims are offered as a guide and are not guaranteed, should you need an item or items urgently then the following services might be more suitable:-

Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day - this service "guarantees delivery to 99% of the UK by 1pm the next working day".

City Link - Items dispatched via City Link shoud be expected within 3 to 5 working days from the date you place your order.  A tracking number will be forwarded to you shortly after your item is dispatched.

Please note: All orders will be dispatched the next working day.

If you require an item / items urgently then please contact us either by email or telephone and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

All our deliveries are sent "recorded" and will require a signature.  If you are not available to sign for your parcel then Royal Mail will leave a card and you will have to contact them to rearrange delivery or collect the package from their depot.

*All Royal Mail delivery aims are as advertised on their website and may be subject to delays at times.

Packaging

When completing the checkout process on our website you'll be offered the option of recycled packaging, selecting this allows us the opportunity of cutting down on waste should we have suitable boxes.  All our items are packed safe and securely.

Please note: Due to the variable sizes of the vintage products we sell we reserve the right to use recycled packaging on all such items.
